Each Year our pupils achieve outstanding results in state examinations. Students have achieved 11 A's at Junior Certificate level and a significant number score over 500 points at Leaving Certificate level.

Congratulations to all students on their excellent Junior Cert results and special congratulations to Sheila Houlihan(11 A's) and Roisin Eyres (10A's) and top performing boys Aaron O'Neill and Hugh Giffney.

Welcome to Scoil Mhuire
Community School

Welcome to a new school year. We extend a special welcome to our 160 first year students who are settling in to life in Scoil Mhuire.

News Updates
Incoming First Years
Presentation of Option Line Subjects for Incoming first years, takes place on Tuesday 13th April 2010. The presentation will take place in the schools gym at 7:00pm.

1st and 2nd Year Students are at presently putting the final touches to the Musical,
"Bugsy Malone", which takes place on
Wednesday 14th; thursday 15th; friday 16th and Saturday 17th April 2010

Senior Hurlers
Our senior hurlers play their final on Tuesday 23rd March 2010, we wish them well.
European Tour 2010
This year the second year European Tour will be departing on Sunday the 28th March. To maximise the time the buses will be departing at about 3:00am on that Sunday Morning. There will be almost 80 students travelling as well as 9 teachers. The tour will be visiting Vienna, Bratislava and Buda pest.
U/16 footballers
Scoil Mhuire play Athy on Wednesday 24th March in the Kildare County championship, the game takes place at the school grounds.
BT Young Scientist
Scoil Mhuire would like to congratulate Ben Chapman (5th year), who's project at BT Young Scientist & Technology Exhibition, collected a ComReg sponsored Special Award in the Technology category.
Student Council
The student council are an integral part of school life in Scoil Mhuire. They have planned a hectic schedule of activities including a Christmas Shoebox Apppeal, an Action Charity concert and assistance with the annual Stars in Your Eyes talent Competition.
